When he can to live with us he told us his wrist hurt so we took him to the Doctor and found out it had been broken (9 months earlier)
He opted for a cast to help it heal instead of surgery, however when he got home the first day he was a bit regretful of the choice.
So at the next visit (4 weeks) it had no change so we then decided to have the surgery. They placed a screw in the bone to force it to heal.
He had to wear 2 more casts after that and was released in November to play basketball. We also found out the he had a broken finger that was never taken care of either but do to the kind of break it was there was no fixing it.
He fit right in at school, making friends and playing sports. It has been a big change for him but he has done really well. He even went to the Winter Dance, it was a Masquerade Ball. Looking GOOD!!
So now you know Christian. He also turned 16 in December. He went from being the youngest in his family to now the second oldest in ours. We have enjoyed every minute of having him with us.
