I am sure alot of you have read the talk “Hope Ya Know, We Had a Hard Time” - by Elder Quentin L. Cook - http://www.lds.org/ldsorg/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=f318118dd536c010VgnVCM1000004d82620aRCRD&locale=0&sourceId=e9d7a0ad4843d110VgnVCM100000176f620a____&hideNav=1
Well this Sunday we had it for our lesson in Relief Society. If you get a chance please take the time to read it or watch it.
It is truly an eye opener to know that we aren't alone when we think we are having a hard time. We hold so much in thinking that it must only be us that are hurt, alone, or in need. Yet all we need to do is to let others know of what we are going through and someone is going to be there to help.
It would be nice to text on your phone to a friend "hope you know I am having a hard time" and to get a text back that gives you exactley what you need, but sometimes their phone is not or or they miss the text. Here is something that would be even better when your on your knees and you cry out "hope you know I am having a hard time" and that still small voices comes back and says "I know and I am here for you".
It is then that we can know our hard times aren't just know by us but by our Heavenly Father. Who is always there for us when we need it.
